Eye Lie Popeye #2

There are some interesting developments within the Eye Lie Popeye #2 comic book. I am glad I decided to pay the $4.99 to purchase a copy of this comic book. The credits for Eye Lie Popeye #2 can be found on the back of the front cover. After that are twenty-one pages of comic book content, then the cover gallery page. There are then advertisements to finish off Eye Lie Popeye #2.

The issues families can have with Eye Lie Popeye #2 are violence, lack of attire, magic, enticement to lust and more. There will be spoilers in my review of the Eye Lie Popeye #2 comic book. Eye Lie Popeye #2 starts with the witch that was dismissed by the main villain. She still wants this eye. She decides she will continue on her quest without the main bad guy.

Additional characters arrive to help with the clean up in Eye Lie Popeye #2. I do not remember all of them, but it was neat for a flashback to explain at least one of the characters. The little magical character is finally able to speak more than one word in Eye Lie Popeye #2. We learn a lot about this fantasy universe thanks to him in Eye Lie Popeye #2. I really appreciated that.

All of these characters are like puppets, but Popeye is unique and special. The main bad guy is trying to get Popeye back to the source for some reason. General Stalwart shows up to fight Popeye. The battle it out in Eye Lie Popeye #2. The fighting does not end or finish in Eye Lie Popeye #2. The evil hag witch lady helps Popeye's friends in Eye Lie Popeye #2. She grants them magical devices that can help.

Jeep is much more central to the storyline than I was expecting. In fact Jeep also used to work for that main bad guy. I suspect the main bad guy will not be happy with this little guy at some point in the future. I hope Popeye can beat the magical general in the next issue. Popeye is having issues fighting him in Eye Lie Popeye #2. The general is somehow sucking the power from Popeye.
