Fae Farm
SCORE: 65
It is my hope that you were able to attend and participate in the
live streams I performed of Fae Farm on the Nintendo Switch. Fae Farm
can also be found on the Personal Computer (PC). We are shipwrecked on
an island that has some magical whirlpools. We learned to harvest, farm,
take care of animals, mine, battle monsters, catch critters, fish, and
more in Fae Farm.
I do not like the fishing in Fae Farm. It is annoying, obnoxious, and
takes too much time. Planting, harvesting, crafting, and catching bugs
are all much easier in Fae Farm. There are different characters to
interact with in Fae Farm. We have some customization of our characters,
and the pronoun mental illness is within Fae Farm. There is also some
violence, false gods, goddess, and more in Fae Farm.
The monsters in Fae Farm are strange. The mine is important in Fae Farm.
The minerals the player acquires from the mine will help them fast
travel to lower floors, and to improve the tools. We sell items by
putting them on tables in the main town square. Someone always buys them
at the end of the day. Fae Farm feels like a fantasy kind of Rune
Factory that is actually light on the fantasy portion.
The graphics in Fae Farm are small, and it can be difficult to tell what
things are at first. We build different things in Fae Farm that will
craft things for us. Like food, or the seals to place on altars that
allow us to fast travel to that location. In the mine you must place a
seal on every single floor. A requirement for the fifth floor is that
there was one placed on the fourth floor, and so on.
There is some charm to Fae Farm. I can see some families getting into
this game. There are better ones on the market though. There are
numerous Rune Factory video games, Story of Seasons, Harvest Moon, and
more. I wanted to check this game out and see what it was about. It
almost garnered my attention for more live streams, but not quite. Magic
is a major theme in Fae Farm.
