Final Fantasy I-VI Collection

It is my hope that you were able to watch me play the first Final Fantasy in the Pixel Remaster on the Nintendo Switch. If you missed the exciting live streams then you can always catch the videos in the video section of the Family Friendly Gaming website. It was quite the trip down memory lane playing the first game after all these years. The 8-bit games have been upgraded visually to the 16-bit games.

There may be updates to this review as I get the time to play through the other five games. Thus far families need to be aware of violence, magic, lack of attire, enticement to lust, nudity, blood, sexual content, alcohol, false gods, and more. I noticed there are plenty of upgrades to help players get through these games faster. I love being able to bring up a map in a dungeon and easily plan my route.

It is really neat to get six retro games on one cartridge. The problem for me was the price being over one hundred dollars. Sure it came to about twenty dollars a game for me, but that is a lot for retro video games. To make matters worse I own many of these video games on the older systems. It is easier for me to live stream on the newer systems but that is a hefty price tag. Why was it so high Square Enix?

I wish the PR and Marketing behind this video game did not fail us so badly. It is starting to become par for the course in the video game industry. How do they keep their jobs while constantly making so many mistakes and bad decisions? There are a few interesting features in Final Fantasy I-VI Collection like the soundtracks and music players. I did need to grind in Final Fantasy I-VI Collection multiple times.

I really hope the Dragon Quest/Dragon Warrior video games get this same treatment very soon. I hope to be able to play one of these games at least once a year going forward. Final Fantasy I-VI Collection is a wonderful trip down memory lane. I wish the original versions were included. That would have made Final Fantasy I-VI Collection worth the massive price in my opinion.
