Final Fight #1

After reading that Street Fighter vs Final Fight FCBD 2024 I decided I wanted to check out that series when it came out. What came in my comic book pull months later was Final Fight #1. Some of the same characters so I thought why not. Final Fight #1 cost me $4.99 and there are only twenty-two pages of comic book content. Then a page for the next month, and pages for some advertisements.

The issues families can have with Final Fight #1 are violence, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. The enticement to lust in Final Fight #1 is really high. There are advertisements and alternate covers of swimsuit comic books, and there are plenty of provocative images. Women are being used as sex objects in Final Fight #1 quite a bit. There will be spoilers in my review of the Final Fight #1 comic book.

The credits can be found on the back of the front cover of the Final Fight #1 comic book. The storyline in Final Fight #1 reminds me of the video games. Haggar becomes the mayor of a corrupt town that is generally run by the criminal organization Mad Gear. Haggar promises to clean up the town from their crime and corruption. There is one small snag with that plan though.

The mayor gets a VHS tape from the criminals that they kidnapped his daughter. He must do as they say if he wants to see his daughter again. Haggar gets two buddies and they go after the criminals in Final Fight #1. There is plenty of fighting as the three heroes try and get his daughter back. The daughter is moved to another location as they are trying to get her back in Final Fight #1.

The mayor and a thug wind up on a train leaving the other two behind in Final Fight #1. The little twist at the end of Final Fight #1 is the mayor finds out that plenty of people on this subway train are part of Mad Gear. So Haggar is going to have to fight his way free in the next issue. At least that is how it looks to me at the end of Final Fight #1. I plan on continuing to read this series for a bit longer.
