Foamstars
SCORE: 58
I was pretty excited when I heard about Foamstars initially. My
interest dropped quite a bit when I found it was going to be a
Playstation exclusive. Since Noah has Playstation Plus we were able to
play it. Well let me clarify that comment. I was able to play Foamstars
on Noah's account only. Unlike how Peter has Xbox Gamepass and we can
all enjoy those games, Sony is pretty lame and greedy.
The issues families can have with Foamstars are violence, lack of
attire, enticement to lust, evolution and more. We can do these
repetitive missions for the characters in Foamstars or play others
online. The match making in Foamstars is horrible. I could easily tell
that I was facing extremely advanced players as a noob, and it took
forever to find anyone to play. Foamstars is just lame and dull on so
many levels.
The coolest thing about Foamstars is being able to pile up the foam. We
can get some cool height in Foamstars. There is a ceiling we are not
able to get above though. Different characters have different weapons
which means some strengths and weaknesses. There is a way to go around
on surfboards but I did not figure that out. Noah played more than me
and he did not figure it out either.
The lack of multi platform harms Foamstars greatly. The shops to buy
things after already paying for the game only shows the greed from
Square Enix. The controls can be clunky and slow. Interesting enough we
can jump faster and farther that we can move around in Foamstars. I do
not see Foamstars as being worth the price of admission personally.
Foamstars has not been out long and already seems to be dying.
Foamstars is not as good as Splatoon. I wanted to like this game so
badly too. Square Enix did not hit the landing with Foamstars. Instead
Square Enix landed on their faces and the rest of us are just shaking
our heads. Maybe Foamstars will get better in the future. I do not know.
I have plenty of other games to play that come in the respected physical
copy format and are actually fun to play.
