Foolkiller #2

Back in 1990 I was reading comic books. I read the entire ten issue run of the Foolkiller. Fast forward many decades later and I ran into Foolkiller #2 at one of our local comic book stores. I decided to purchase it for another read and review. I wish I had not thrown away all of those comic books from my past. Too late now though. When Foolkiller #2 sold initially it was $1.75. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Foolkiller #2.

I am not sure how much I paid for it at our local comic book store since there is no sticker on it. It may have been around a dollar. The condition of this comic book is actually decent. I am thankful I had the money to take this trip down memory lane. There will be spoilers in my review of the Foolkiller #2 comic book. I do recall a very negative attitude and outlook in this series.

Foolkiller #2 is the coming out party of the third Foolkiller. The first one is discussed in Foolkiller #2 with the second one on television. The man who turns into the third one in Foolkiller #2 reached out and mails the second one. He is then given the gear to become the Foolkiller. The whole point of the second one was to get someone else to carry on his work while he was in an asylum.

The issues families can have with Foolkiller #2 are violence, lack of attire, and more. These serial killers see the world as broken. People are making all kinds of mistakes thanks to free will. Their solution is to kill the people. These people are labeled as fools in this comic book. There are attacks on things like making money and getting wealthy. Homeless people are referenced.

Corruption is referenced in Foolkiller #2. At the end of the day after these serial killers murder a few people I have to wonder some things. How much 'good' did they actually do? How much of an impact did they actually make? Foolkiller #2 also shows me that without God these messed up people have no hope or reason to live. I have a few more issues of this comic book series in my pile.
