Foundation Season One

I am literally smiling as I am writing this review. I have lost track of how many times I have written reviews on something thanks to our family being able to find a free month or two of some service. Foundation Season One is a great example of this. Yolanda was able to procure two months free of Apple TV+. So we are blitzing through television shows for reviews. Foundation Season One is a science fiction television that contains some interesting concepts.

There will be spoilers in my review of the Foundation Season One television show. There are ten episodes in Foundation Season One. The episodes range from forty-five minutes to one hour and nine minutes. There will be spoilers in my review of the Foundation Season One television show. There is this massive interstellar galactic empire in Foundation Season One. It is run by three rulers that are clones of the original emperor.

The interesting concept of the three rulers in Foundation Season One is they are at different ages. One is called Dawn, the next one is Day, and the final one is Dusk. the young one starts as a baby when the oldest one steps into a device that kills him. The middle one is probably in his thirties or forties. He is the one that makes all the decisions in Foundation Season One.

There is this mathematician and psychology professor Hari Seldon. He devises this complex math problem that Gaal Dornick solves. Gaal is from a planet that does not trust technology or even education. She is shunned for her studying behind the backs of her parents. Hari claims the empire will fall based on the math he has come up with. Gaal reinforces this but is actually lying partially.

The issues families can have with Foundation Season One are violence, blood, false gods, goddesses, lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language, sexual deviancy, suicide, evolution, reincarnation, sex outside of marriage and more. Life has very little value in Foundation Season One. The idea of clones being used again and again is explored in Foundation Season One. A terrorist blows up the Star Bridge in Foundation Season One.

The concept of time is interesting in Foundation Season One. It can take some characters a long time to get from one location to another. There are massive skips in time in Foundation Season One as well. The interesting thing about the Foundation in this show is they are actually being setup to be the ones to overthrown the Empire. The Spiral Walk was really annoying in Foundation Season One.
