G.I. Joe #5
SCORE: 73
G.I. Joe #5 originally sold for $2.95 when it was released back in
the day. G.I. Joe #5 only cost me ninety cents from one of my trips to
McKays. This older comic book is actually in pretty good shape. The
credits can be found on the back of the front cover. I also received a
bag and a board backing for that ninety cents. There are two profiles on
the credits page in G.I. Joe #5 as well.
There will be spoilers in my review of the G.I. Joe #5 comic book. I am
really enjoying getting to hop around different comic book eras and
styles lately. G.I. Joe #5 is a great example of this. G.I. Joe #5
revolves around Duke hunting down Major Bludd. The story in G.I. Joe #5
is called Out for Bludd. There is some violence, lack of attire, blood,
and more in G.I. Joe #5. All of it is pretty tame.
There is a lot of action within G.I. Joe #5. I love how Duke speaks all
of these different languages. It is actually pretty impressive to me. I
have met a few people in my life that speak multiple languages. Duke is
speaking ever single language in all of these different countries. That
is impressive along with his ability to survive all of these different
gun fights in G.I. Joe #5.
Duke is constantly in peril in G.I. Joe #5. Duke sneaks into a party to
get to a computer to learn the location of Major Bludd. Duke is caught
and must fight his way out of this mansion. Once Duke escapes he is able
to go to where Major Bludd is. Duke then has a high speed water chase
with Major Bludd. The next chase is a motorcycle versus a car chase on
the road. Major Bludd falls into the ocean in G.I. Joe #5.
The last part of G.I. Joe #5 is where Duke looks for information on what
Major Bludd was working on. Duke finds out what Major Bludd was working
on in G.I. Joe #5. From what he sees, it looks like it might be really
important. This information is not passed along to the reader though. So
readers must buy the next issue to find out. Sadly I would have to find
one somewhere.
