Garfield #21

Sometimes I wonder if my mood impacts and/or effects some of the reviews. I was in a really good mood when I read Garfield #21. I am still in a good mood while I am writing this review. Does that impact the comments and scoring? I will make a note and then scientifically try to determine that answer in the near future. There are two stories found within the Garfield #21 comic book.

There will be spoilers in my review of the Garfield #21 comic book. The first story in Garfield #21 is Fraidy Cat. This Fraidy Cat story is twelve pages long. Timothy is a cat and he is afraid of almost everything and everyone. Timothy is tortured by a bully. Timothy decides he wants to be a monster so people are afraid of him.

Garfield points out to Timothy in Garfield #21 that if he is a monster then he would be lonely. Garfield even helps Timothy with the bully in this comic book. Here is where Garfield #21 gets interesting. Odie is in the forest and runs into a small monster. Odie runs away and the monster comes looking for the puppy. Can you guess what Timothy decides to do? Timothy decides to dress up like a monster to teach the bully a lesson.

The bully overhears the plan in Garfield #21. The bully runs into the real monster and thinks it is Timothy. Garfield points out the real Timothy and the bully runs away scared. There is some great humor with a sandwich in Garfield #21 too. The second story in Garfield #21 is called One Shoe Off. Jon loses on shoe so Garfield and Odie go on a quest to find it in Garfield #21.

A homeless man is playing with a cat. The cat stole Jon's shoe. A lady loses her purse in the park. Odie and the cat try to return it but a man gets it, steals the money and returns it. This man gets caught after he accuses the homeless man of the theft. Odie and the cat correct this mistake and the homeless man is given a financial reward. Odie gets the shoe and Jon can get his shoe back.
