Garfield #8

Another day and another comic book to work on. Garfield #8 has some really cool and fun stuff in it that families can appreciate. The credits can be found on the back of the front cover with the Garfield #8 comic book. There are two stories within Garfield #8. The first story in Garfield #8 is The Never-Ending Tale of Santa Mouse. The second story within Garfield #8 is Snow Problem.

The first story in Garfield #8 is twelve pages, and the second story is ten pages. There are a few advertisement pages after the comic book content within Garfield #8. There will be spoilers in my review of the Garfield #8 comic book. The first story in Garfield #8 revolves around Christmas. Mice are told about a mouse that gives kid mice whatever they want for Christmas. Sort of like Santa Claus.

The first story has another cat named Harry run across two mice kids. Harry is really hungry and pretends to be Garfield to find out where the mice are having their Christmas Party. Harry shows up to get a meal and winds up not eating a mouse because it is the mother of the mice kids and they already lost their father. Garfield invites Harry to come home with him to eat in Garfield #8. It was a nice feel good moment.

The second story in Garfield #8 is all about Jon and Odie building this thirty foot snowman. Garfield comes out and uses some magic to bring the snowman to life. Then Garfield must save Jon and Odie from the giant Snowman. Garfield eventually finds the right tool to bring down the giant Snowman in Garfield #8. They then have a giant slushy like area in their yard. Garfield comes up with a good solution to this problem.

All in all Garfield #8 is pretty cute. I wish Garfield #8 had something about the true meaning of Christmas. Kids need to learn about the birth of Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he made for us. The giant Snowman is an interesting story that borders on the fantasy aspect. The art is good and the dialogue is easy to read. This comic book cost us $3.99 back in the day. I know I have a few more Garfield comic books left to read.
