Garfield #9
SCORE: 79
It is a great time for me to review a comic book from 2013. I know
this comic book is over ten years old. We do not age discriminate
against products here at Family Friendly Gaming. Noah asked me to work
this comic book in when I had the time. I am more than happy to do so.
The credits for Garfield #9 can be found on the back of the front cover.
The cost of Garfield #9 was $3.99.
There will be spoilers in my review of the Garfield #9 comic book.
Garfield #9 contains twenty-two pages of comic book content. There are a
few advertisement pages within the Garfield #9 comic book near the end.
There are two stories within Garfield #9. The first story is called An
Odie Story. The second story in Garfield #9 is Pet Force vs The Fearsome
Four. There is an intro page in Garfield #9.
The intro page in Garfield #9 is explaining that there will not be a lot
of Garfield in the first story. That could offend some people. The
violent content in the second story could also offend others though.
There was no pages in Garfield #9 pointing that out. Quite honestly I
felt like Garfield was in more than enough of the first story. That
story is about Odie so less Garfield makes sense.
Odie wants Garfield to throw the stick with him, but Garfield does not
want to play. Garfield wants to lay around and sleep. So Odie finds a
boy in the woods to play fetch with him. A burglar invades this boy's
house. The dad is mad that the dog distracted him from protecting the
house. Odie goes and finds the burglar and gets a policeman to arrest
him. The dad will then let his son have a dog for a pet. Just not Odie.
It looks like the Pet Force has been defeated in Garfield #9. At the
last minute one of them mind controls the bad lady and gets her to undo
The Fearsome Four and to let the Pet Force go. The minion of hers joins
the Pet Force for a sandwich. The story felt really fast and pointless
to me. I know they did not have a lot of pages to work with. Why not
give that story all of the pages so it could be fleshed out more?
