Gargoyles #11
SCORE: 77
This comic book series continues to get better with every single
issue. Gargoyles #11 is a great example of this. There are twenty-two
pages of comic book content within Gargoyles #11. After that we have a
page devoted to the next issue. Then we get some advertisements within
Gargoyles #11. The final few pages of the Gargoyles #11 comic book are
devoted to the cover's gallery. There will be some spoilers within this
review.
There are two really shocking things I found out after reading Gargoyles
#11. The first one is the next issue is going to be the last one in this
series. I also found out that Gargoyles Dark Ages will be ending soon as
well. I am pretty bummed about that. Gargoyles #11 does let readers know
that a new series Gargoyles Quest will be coming soon. So at least we
will get some kind of Gargoyles comic book to read going forward.
There is a bit of mild violence within Gargoyles #11. There are
Gargoyles that are trying to save these humans after they find out they
will be murdered soon. The Gargoyles must fight off giant mechs in
Gargoyles #11. They go after the hydraulics to take them down. Maybe it
would be smart to put armor around that vehicle weakness. I am
constantly thinking as a strategist. I cannot honestly help myself.
Gargoyles #11 is done in a very interesting style. There are multiple
storyline threads being woven throughout the Gargoyles #11 comic book.
We hop around between them quite often in Gargoyles #11. There is
Detective Maza and her getting chewed out for deceiving her boss. There
are Gargoyles trying to save some humans, and then Goliath at the death
bed of an old man. Goliath gets two percent of the company.
The main bad guy in Gargoyles #11 admits he has one more card to play.
Will it help him take over the underworld of the city? How will things
work for the Gargoyles going forward now that they are considered
citizens and must no longer hide from humans? What punishment will
Detective Maza receive? There are plenty of loose ends to be wrapped up
in the next issue of this comic book. I am curious to read them.
