Home Computer Heroes Collection 1
SCORE: 66
I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the Home
Computer Heroes Collection 1 on the Evercade. There are seven games on
this cartridge. The games on the Home Computer Heroes Collection 1
cartridge are Planet X2, Attack of the PETSCII Robots, Farming Simulator
C64 Edition, The Sword of Ianna, Citadel Remonstered, Tanks Furry, and
Bridge Strike. There are two action games, one strategy, one platformer,
one simulation, one shoot em up, and one first person shooter.
The interesting titles in Home Computer Heroes Collection 1for me are
Farming Simulator C64 Edition, Tanks Furry, and Bridge Strike. It is
really cool to see what Farming Simulator would have been like on the
Commodore 64. Tanks Furry is going around mazes and shooting other
tanks. Reminds me of Combat. Bridge Strike is a lot like River Raid. We
are on a river with a plane and we shoot other vehicles. We must also
collect fuel along the way or our plane will crash.
Even with the manual there are some things that take time to learn in at
least a couple of these games. Planet X2, Attack of the PETSCII Robots,
and Farming Simulator C64 Edition are not easy to pick up. Do not expect
to immediately figure out how to do anything or everything in those
games. I found myself pretty confused as I live streamed those video
games. I am not into Citadel Remonstered or The Sword of Ianna
personally. These are not my kind of video games.
The issues families can have with Home Computer Heroes Collection 1 are
violence, blood, gore, lack of attire, enticement to lust, false gods,
and more. In my personal and professional opinion The Sword of Ianna and
Citadel Remonstered are the two worst games in Home Computer Heroes
Collection 1. It is interesting to see newer made video games designed
for older systems. Home Computer Heroes Collection 1 shows this off
quite nicely.
Planet X2 and Farming Simulator C64 Edition have some of the most
promise. If you are willing to dig into these games and spend some time
learning their systems then you can have a lot of replay value. Up to
four family members can play Tanks Furry.
