Inside Out 2
SCORE: 71
The last movie I watched with our free months of Disney+ was Inside
Out 2. In fact this movie came out at just the perfect time for us. We
were getting close to cancelling the service and it was released on
Disney+. Inside Out 2 is one hour and forty-two minutes long. There are
some fascinating concepts discussed in Inside Out 2. There were ads,
glitches, and lag since this movie was watched on Disney+.
There will be spoilers in my review of the Inside Out 2 movie. I know
one of the first questions a great many readers want to know is - How
woke is Inside Out 2? I see a few things here and there within Inside
Out 2. For example the main character is a female, and the father is
really weak. The mother is shown as strong in Inside Out 2. In fact
Inside Out 2 shows men support women, and women are the important ones.
Inside Out 2 has an odd perspective on beliefs. Joy has cultivated her
human's beliefs with things like: "I am a good person," and "I am a good
friend." These are fascinating but not realistic. Riley gets a penalty
for tripping a boy in Inside Out 2. Joy decides to throw that memory to
the back of the mind and ignore it. Joy and the others are purposely
guiding the self image of Riley in Inside Out 2.
Anxiety, Envy, Ennui, Embarrassment, and Nostalgia show up in Inside Out
2 to join the other emotions. This happens due to puberty hitting Riley.
At the same time Riley and her two friends are off to a girls hockey
camp in Inside Out 2. Riley finds out her two friends will be going to
different high schools. Anxiety leads a coup and they get rid of the
first five emotions.
Inside Out 2 shows what happens if you are focused on being competitive.
You are selfish and mean to others is what this movie teaches viewers.
Inside Out 2 teaches viewers to just have fun, and do not try your best.
At the end of the movie all of the hidden memories are brought back
while Riley is having an anxiety attack thanks to Anxiety freaking out.
She makes up with her friends and stops trying to be competitive.
