My Adventures with Superman #1

Recently I heard about this television show called My Adventures with Superman. When I found My Adventures with Superman #1 at my local comic book store I decided to check it out. I wanted to see what this series was like and all about. My Adventures with Superman #1 cost me $3.99. There are twenty pages of comic book content within My Adventures with Superman #1. This comic book also contains a five page preview.

There will be spoilers in my review of the My Adventures with Superman #1 comic book. First off My Adventures with Superman #1 did not impress me. We have a black Jimmy Olsen, and a really short haired Lois. I am not into the younger and stranger renditions of the characters in My Adventures with Superman #1. Christmas is referenced multiple times which is nice.

The issues families can have with My Adventures with Superman #1 are violence, and more. I am not a fan of the art style in My Adventures with Superman #1. There are also bad attitudes and characters talking about others behind their backs. Advertisements can be found all throughout the My Adventures with Superman #1 comic book. Not one of the ads interested me. The preview did not interest me either.

Some character breaks free and has a small fight with Superman in My Adventures with Superman #1. At first Superman thought it was Parasite, but it was learning his powers not absorbing them. I wonder if that character is the Martian Manhunter? I guess I will keep reading for a bit to find out. The cost of My Adventures with Superman #1 compared to the comic book content is pretty bad.

Superman does try to keep other characters safe in My Adventures with Superman #1. In fact Superman will save someone over fighting the enemy. Even though the enemy is what caused the person to be in peril in the first place. My Adventures with Superman #1 references that Metropolis has been through a lot. I have not seen the show so I have no idea what that was.
