My Little Pony #18

I am starting to feel like this storyline is being needlessly dragged on for no reason. The two ponies who were swapped both know what they need to do. Yet they are both being stubborn. It honestly makes little to no sense to me at this point. Maybe that is the point of this storyline. Maybe the writers want the readers to react the way I am. There will be spoilers in this review.

Both of those ponies are messing up the lives of the other one. You know what this franchise really needs right now? They need a recap section on the credits page. Anyone just coming into this comic book series may have no idea what exactly is going on. Also who knows what? Certain characters know the swap happened and plenty others had no idea. Why not just go public with it?

The artwork looks nice in My Little Pony #18. Carotang lies in My Little Pony #18. He gets threatened and that makes Zipp's life even more difficult. No one wants to go to her concert because she threatened Carotang for the lies he said about her. The threat was to use her royal power to not let him perform anywhere in the future. It was a pretty drastic threat after all.

My Little Pony #18 includes twenty-two pages of comic book content, then a page for the next issue in this comic book series, alternate covers, and then some advertisements. None of the ads in My Little Pony #18 interested me. Not one bit. Zipp is not the only one to create a disaster in My Little Pony #18. Pipp also completely messes up the royale ball in My Little Pony #18.

Do you know where Pipp went wrong? She decided to give every pony exactly what they wanted. So one wanted a mud bath, another a Ferris wheel, and another wanted cotton candy. The setup of all these different machines went badly and mud winded up everywhere. We do get a little bit of humor in My Little Pony #18. The mud bath makes their skin feel much softer. That is after it went everywhere in that room.
