My Little Pony #19
SCORE: 79
I have been a bit blah on the My Little Pony recently. My Little Pony
#19 drew me back in and almost hit a home run. There are twenty pages of
comic book content within My Little Pony #19. After that we get a page
devoted to the next issue, alternate covers, and then some
advertisements. There is no recap in My Little Pony #19. I honestly find
that to be a shame when there is a continuing storyline.
There will be spoilers in this review. The coloring is nice within My
Little Pony #19. I felt like the two ponies realized how hard their
lives were in My Little Pony #19. I honestly thought the wish should be
completed. The sisters decide to work together and help one another
learn their lives. There are of course issues there. One of them is
there is not enough time.
Panini is interviewed in My Little Pony #19. Readers find out that
Milkyway granted him a wish, and it did not turn out so good. Milkyway
kept Panini awake all night to keep working so he could earn enough
money to be able to purchase and run a diner. Milkyway eventually
canceled the wish because so many ponies complained about it. The ponies
have a plan in My Little Pony #19.
The plan in My Little Pony #19 is to show Milkyway what a disaster the
royal dinner and the royal concert is going to be. They are also going
to tell everyone what Milkyway did and give her all of the credit for
the disaster. Milkyway is in essence backed into a corner in My Little
Pony #19. She must cancel that wish and return things to normal right?
Well keep reading my friends.
Milkyway refuses to cancel the wish. Instead she sends a horrible storm
so no one can attend the royal dinner or the royal concert with just a
few hours to go. Milkyway cannot have another colossal failure like she
did in the past. By the way Panini's wish was also essentially granted
in the flash back in My Little Pony #19. I think Milkyway's real problem
is not realizing her wishes were completed.
