My Little Pony #20

I am very thankful I had the $3.99 to purchase a copy of the My Little Pony #20 comic book. The Freaky Friday storyline continues within My Little Pony #20. There will be spoilers in this review. My Little Pony #20 contains twenty pages of comic book content. After that is alternate covers some advertisements and IDW View from the Back Page. I am a bit unclear on one part of My Little Pony #20.

I am not sure if this comic book ends the series or not. It has the end on the last page. There is no cover showing the next issue either. The IDW View from the Back Page is in essence an editor in chief column from Jamie S. Rich. IDW is going to start talking to their readers again. I see there are plugs for other IDW comic books on that page in My Little Pony #20 as well.

The storyline completely wraps up in My Little Pony #20. The ponies decide to go ahead with the Royal Dinner and the Royal Concert in spite of the rain and storm that Milkyway sent. They decide to do it virtually. This makes perfect sense to me. There are too many control freaks that feel everything has to be done in person. I appreciate My Little Pony #20 supporting doing things virtually. ClickTrot sounds like a great tool to me.

Carotang is actually the one enlisted to sing at the Royal Concert. That way Zipp earns back the respect of her fans. The fact that she would step aside and let Carotang headline the concert is a brilliant idea. The ponies get their marks swapped back and return to normal. Both of them apologize and realize how hard the life of the other one actually is. It is a heart felt moment.

Milkyway is also sent back to school for her ignoring the needs of her clients. At the end of My Little Pony #20 is a bit of a joke. Zipp wishes her sister was not so much of a perfectionists. Milkyway comes flying in thinking she is needed again. It is a nice way to end this storyline. It might also be a nice way to completely end this series too. My Little Pony #20 teaches us to think of others.
