My Little Pony Kenbucky Roller Derby #1
SCORE: 83
I decided to try out this comic book series. I expect the My Little
Pony Kenbucky Roller Derby will be a limited run series that only has a
few issues in it. Where do you start a new series? Whenever possible the
beginning is a great place to do that. So I found the $3.99 and
purchased a copy of the My Little Pony Kenbucky Roller Derby #1 comic
book. Based on the name alone I had some idea what My Little Pony
Kenbucky Roller Derby #1 would be about.
There will be spoilers in this review. Sunny tries out for a Roller
Derby team in My Little Pony Kenbucky Roller Derby #1. She gets
humiliated because she does not know all of these moves. The team
decides they do not want her in their stable because they just want
winners. The friends of Sunny are offended that these other ponies were
not nice to her, and did not see her talent. So they decide she should
have her own team where she treats other creatures better.
My Little Pony Kenbucky Roller Derby #1 touches on some interesting
topics like how to coach someone. How do we train someone? What is the
way to get the best out of your players on a team? There are twenty-two
pages of comic book content within My Little Pony Kenbucky Roller Derby
#1. There is also a page devoted to the next issue, alternate covers,
some advertisements and of course IDW view from the back page.
Tracy Tailspin is contacted in My Little Pony Kenbucky Roller Derby #1.
She was a legendary player of Roller Derby and she agrees to coach Sunny
and whatever team she can come up with. My Little Pony Kenbucky Roller
Derby #1 has a Bad News Bears kind of vibe going for it. The underdogs
will most likely rise and do well. It would not surprise me to see them
win near the end of this comic book series.
I enjoyed the art within My Little Pony Kenbucky Roller Derby #1. I am
fascinated by some of the concepts in this comic book. How do you
respond to positive feedback? Does it makes you work harder and do
better? How do you respond to negative feedback? Does it make you want
to prove that person wrong? Both of those concepts are referenced in My
Little Pony Kenbucky Roller Derby #1. I am curious to see where this
comic book series will go.
