My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #1

I saw My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #1 and decided to purchase it and add the rest of the series to my comic book haul. After reading My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #1 I am really glad I did. The My Little Pony comic books have been hit or miss lately. Thus far I feel like most of My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #1 is a hit. This comic book cost me $3.99.

There are twenty pages of comic book content within My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #1. After that we have a page devoted to the next issue, alternate covers, ads, and IDW View from the Back Page. I gotta be blunt concerning the IDW View from the Back Page - they generally stink to high heaven. In fact those pages make me want to not give IDW Publishing any money.

There will be spoilers in my review of the My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #1 comic book. The queen decides she will take a week off. She needs a vacation. She is putting her daughter Zephyrina Storm in charge. The queen wants to spend some time with her Alfie. I am not clear on who that character is. I think it might be the man in her life. I certainly hope so.

The art in My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #1 is a bit odd for this franchise. The emotions are exaggerated in the art in My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #1. All the friends of the princess show up in My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #1 to help her. She is anxious about taking over for her mother even for one week. There is sunny weather and things looks great for the kingdom.

The ponies decide to have a nice spa day at the royal spa. Then things take a dramatic turn for the worse in My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #1. A giant snowstorm comes in faster than had been expected. The ponies get into gear to evacuate the entire town. That is where My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #1 ends. There is also some foreshadowing about where they lived before this city. I suspect we will run into that in a future issue of this series.
