My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #2

There are some major changes between the first and second issues of this comic book series. My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #2 cost me $6.99. There are forty pages of comic book content within My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #2. The last comic book cost me $3.99 and contained twenty pages of comic book content. In terms of comic book content we save one dollar thanks to My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #2.

There will be spoilers in my review of the My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #2 comic book. The art continues to be meh in this series. For some reason the art in My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #2 feels off. I am having trouble placing it. The storyline gets a bit more interesting in My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #2 though. The attempts to evacuate the city are failing.

The storm that is surrounding the city in My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #2 is magical. The ponies are unable to go through the storm wall. They decide instead to hunker down in the castle. They bring the ponies to the castle to be safe. There are then two plans worked on. One of them has characters trying to fix an airship. The other one involves ponies trying to fly through the storm.

Flying through the storm continues to fail in My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #2. So the next idea they come up with is to fly over the storm. Three ponies do so and find the mythical city of Cloudsdale. They find some hedgehogs that they accidently anger. They seek shelter in a library where they learn the history and intent of the city. The city of Cloudsdale is a giant weather machine.

The ponies quickly realize they need to find a way to turn this machine off. The flying ponies abandoned this city long ago. When magic came back to their world this city got turned on. No one was there to control it. The three ponies in My Little Pony The Storm of Zephyr Heights #2 must find it, and figure out how to turn it off. I do not expect that to happen in the next issue. I do believe it will happen in a couple of issues.
