NYX #1

NYX #1

I did not plan on purchasing a copy of the NYX #1 comic book. I thought I grabbed the new X-Men #1 reboot. This comic book cost me $4.99. There are thirty pages of comic book content within NYX #1. There are two pages devoted to X-Mentions within NYX #1. There is also a page from the editor that will be for letters from readers in the future. There is also a page devoted to the next issue.

There will be spoilers in my review of the NYX #1 comic book. Advertisements can be found all throughout the NYX #1 comic book. The issues families can have with NYX #1 are violence, blood, sexual deviancy, disobedience, and more. Now that Krakoa is gone the mutants are back with the humans. Neither side likes this in NYX #1. So there are conflicts between both sides with all kinds of hatred and name calling on both sides.

NYX #1 also revolves around New York city. I went to that city one time and it was a horrible experience. I have never been a fan of New York City. Most of NYX #1 revolves around Ms. Marvel. We get some Muslim religious beliefs in NYX #1. We also get that female Wolverine character in NYX #1. I think that character is X-23. At least that is what some research showed me.

NYX #1 has some very troubling content within it. There is attacks on parents, older people, wiser people and more. Younger people in NYX #1 are very arrogant, and hateful. There are also jokes about making people jealous in NYX #1. One item of interest is a In Memoriam page for Ray Chan in NYX #1. I have been seeing more of these deaths from people related to comic books. I wonder why. Do you?

The intro/credits page in NYX #1 let me know I was in for a challenging and exhausting experience. I do not plan on reading anymore comics in this series. I understand that people from New York City are writing about what they know about. Too often big city liberals think the world revolves around them. NYX #1 exhibits this self-centered attitude quite well. It rubs diverse people the wrong way.
