Negaduck #5

I find myself conflicted over Negaduck #5. First off I wanted this franchise to end with that storyline wrapping up in the last issue. Then I read Negaduck #5 and actually found some interest and value to it. Ultimately I am glad Negaduck continues. Negaduck #5 cost me $3.99 to purchase. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Negaduck #5. After that there is a page devoted to the next issue, ads, and the cover gallery.

There will be spoilers in my review of the Negaduck #5 comic book. The issues families can have with Negaduck #5 are violence and theft. We find out in Negaduck #5 that Negaduck stole a crown and is escaping with it. A bird comes along and steals the crown from Negaduck. The characters behind this bird decide they want Negaduck to join them in their organization. I am not sure what this organization actually is though.

The bird shows up at Negaduck's lair and drops a puzzle on him. That puzzle leads to another puzzle. Negaduck solves the puzzles and shows up where he needs to. A vehicle takes him to a monster, to another vehicle and so on. Eventually Negaduck gets to these mysterious characters. Negaduck #5 does not reveal much about them. I will need to keep reading this series to find out who they are.

Negaduck #5 has a nice little interlude where we get to see Darkwing Duck on vacation. Negaduck thought Darkwing Duck was behind this whole puzzle and vehicle quest. So Negaduck #5 shows up that Darkwing Duck has nothing to do with this storyline in any way, shape or form. It was neat to see Darkwing Duck. I already miss his comic book. Negaduck is a poor replacement.

I am very curious to learn about the characters behind this organization. The information on the next issue does provide some tantalizing details. I will not spoil any of that until I read and review the next issue. Hopefully the next issue comes soon. Not all of these comic book companies are reliable when it comes to releasing their comic books I noticed. I liked a lot of Negaduck #5.
