Robin #29

Today is another great day. I get to review one of the older comic books that I think came from Peter. Robin #29 is from May 1996. Which is actually before Peter was born so we must have bought an used copy of this comic book. There are no stickers on it to show me where it came from though. Robin #29 cost #1.95 brand new. There is no rating that I was capable of finding of this comic book.

There will be spoilers in my review of the Robin #29 comic book. The credits can be found in a small box on the first page of the Robin #29 comic book. The title of this story in Robin #29 is Hits and Myths. Robin #29 is part of a multi-part storyline. I do not think we have anymore of the Robin comic books so I have no idea what happens after this comic book. I do have some ideas.

Part of Robin #29 is about Tim and Ariana. Ariana dyed her hair blonde after Tim looked at some blonde. Ariana wants more from Tim and they kiss at one point in Robin #29. We also find out about Maxie Zeus in Robin #29. This delusional character thinks he is some Greek or Roman deity. He carries around a lightning bolt. It is not a real lightning bolt though. Maxie has a big thug to help him.

Maxie Zeus has a really good plan. Are you familiar with the story of the Trojan Horse? Maxie Zeus uses this exact strategy in Robin #29. He hijacks an armored vehicle, and then hides in the empty back. The idea is to get towed back to where all these armored vehicles actually are. Robin winds up getting captured in Robin #29. Robin is in the back of the truck tied up with the bad guys.

The issues families can have with Robin #29 are violence, blood, lack of attire, enticement to lust, lying, false gods, and more. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Robin #29. There are also two pages of letters from the fans to the people behind making this comic book. The art is strange in Robin #29. I am not a really big fan of the art style in this comic book.
