Scarlett #1
SCORE: 61
When I first heard about the Scarlett mini series I immediately
thought here we go with another war on men, DEI, radical far left push
for rebellion against God. I did not even want to entertain the option
of reading this comic book. I saw a five page preview for Scarlett #1
and changed my mind. Thus far Scarlett #1 is a bit better than the Cobra
Commander series.
There will be spoilers in my review of the Scarlett #1 comic book. There
are thirty pages of comic book content within Scarlett #1. The credits
are on the back of the front cover. There is a five page preview of
Destro #1 in Scarlett #1. I actually have already read and reviewed
Destro #1 so it is a bit wasteful to me. The editor has a page near the
end of Scarlett #1 talking about this character and his excitement to
get paid.
The issues families will have with Scarlett #1 are lack of attire,
enticement to lust, violence, blood, bad language, rebellion and more.
Scarlett is sent in as a secret agent to a party to find some hostages.
She finds them, and Jinx winds up attacking the place at the same time.
Scarlett is told again and again to not engage. She disobeys and is
shown as right because the hostages were freed.
Scarlett #1 hints that Scarlett and Jinx had some sexual deviant
relationship. Scarlett is brought in by Stalker to go and retrieve Jinx.
Where is Jinx you wonder? Well Jinx is working for Clan Arashikage. She
was brought in to infiltrate that clan in Japan. Scarlett takes out all
these ninjas and offers her services to the Hard Master in Scarlett #1.
Storm Shadow knocks her out at the end of Scarlett #1.
I am really curious to find out where Snake Eyes is in this series.
Scarlett and Snake Eyes are the most important power couple in all of
G.I. Joe A Real American Hero. Jinx has not been a good character for a
long time. I remember her card on the back of her figure back in the
day. She was a ninja with clumsy issues and problems. Scarlett #1
completely redefines Jinx.
