Scooby-Doo! #156
SCORE: 73
One of my sons provided Scooby-Doo! #156 to my pile. I am not sure if
it was Peter or Noah. Either way this comic book was originally released
in July in the year of our Lord 2010. Scooby-Doo! #156 cost #2.50 when
it was originally released. Scooby-Doo! #156 contains two stories. The
first story in Scooby-Doo! #156 is twelve pages, and the second story is
eight pages. There is also a DC in Demand page in Scooby-Doo! #156.
Advertisements can be found all throughout the Scooby-Doo! #156 comic
book. There will be spoilers in my review of the Scooby-Doo! #156 comic
book. The first story in Scooby-Doo! #156 is called Read All About It.
This is a story about a newspaper running a story about an alien being
sighted. The gang shows up to investigate it. This is a high paced story
where there are plenty of running around.
This one gentleman in Scooby-Doo! #156 is being chased by the army. The
interesting thing about this story is the army man is actual fake. In
fact one of his ribbons was from before he was born. The gang finds the
person behind the scam, and he gets arrested. Is it illegal to fake an
alien appearance? It was done to boost the newspaper sales. The man that
was chased gets a promotion so it works out well for him.
The second story in Scooby-Doo! #156 is called The Missing Mummy
Mystery. A guard at a museum is given quite the fright when one of the
mummies walks away. Mystery Inc investigates this mummy in Scooby-Doo!
#156. There is actually some good humor in this story. Scooby and Shaggy
go outside to ask people about the mummy. They wind up in a police
station where the police try to help them find their mommy.
One of the other guards was the culprit in the second story. He was
stealing the mummies in Scooby-Doo! #156. As you can expect he was
arrested for this theft. This guard left behind too many clues in the
locker room the guards had access to. The second story was pretty easy
to figure out in Scooby-Doo! #156. I did not figure out the first story
in Scooby-Doo! #156. It was neat to see these older ads in Scooby-Doo!
#156 though.
