Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #125

Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #125 is the second Scooby-Doo comic book I read in this series. I am beginning to notice a pattern too. I am not really a fan of some of this. Other parts of Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #125 are interesting. There are two major stories within Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #125. The two stories total up to eighteen pages of comic book content. There will be spoilers in this review.

The first story in Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #125 is No Laughing Matter. This story is ten pages long. This town is afraid of Hyena-Man that appears at night. Katie is a local reporter that gets pictures and writes stories about this Hyena-Man. It winds up that Katie is actually Hyena-Man in Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #125. She is using it to launch her media career. I have met plenty of horrible people in PR, Marketing and Media in my life so I can believe it.

The second story in Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #125 is The Boy Who Cried Werewolf. This story is eight pages long. Mystery Inc investigates the boys claims in Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #125. They present the evidence. The young man lied to his dad about the Werewolf because he scraped the car backing out from where he worked. He then tried to scare others as a Werewolf. Thing is his claws could not cut a board of wood but scrape a car real bad. Logic won the day.

Advertisements can be found all throughout the Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #125 comic book. At the end of this comic book are seven pages of a preview of Diana and the Hero's Journey. I have zero interest in that book. First off I am not a fan of the art tones used in that preview. Second the whole young Wonder Woman thing does not interest or appeal to me in any way, shape or form.

There are a few clever jokes within Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #125. I wish the pacing was not so fast in this comic book. One story fleshed out more would be great in my opinion. I doubt anyone over at DC Comics is listening to what we have to say though. They have their formulas, and they stick with them. Scooby-Doo! Where Are You? #125 costs $2.99 which is cheaper than many other comic books on the market.
