Sonic The Hedgehog #69

Sonic The Hedgehog #69 cost me $3.99 to purchase brand new. There has been quite the gap between issues of this comic book. IDW Publishing did not explain why to us either. The credits can be found on the back of the front page. There are twenty pages of comic book content, then a page for the next month, two pages for the Sonic Letter Squad, alternate cover pages, ads, and IDW View from the Back Page.

There will be spoilers in my review of the Sonic The Hedgehog #69 comic book. I read the IDW View from the Back Page in another comic book and it encourages sinful behavior, rebellion against God, and is extremely offensive and controversial. Sonic The Hedgehog #69 has a lot of story elements to it. There is some mild violent content within Sonic The Hedgehog #69 as well.

The qualifying race is on in Sonic The Hedgehog #69. Sonic and his team are messed over as some of the shady figures fix the race so Sonic, Tails, and Amy all have their gear shut down. The gear is sort of like some hoverboards. Clutch the Opossum is behind the rigging of the race to shut down Sonic, Tails, and Amy. He fears them. The thing is he has stayed hidden this long. Now that he got involved he is getting closer to being discovered.

The Restoration and Clean Sweep are working together on this race in Sonic The Hedgehog #69. There are plenty of behind the scenes. We also see all of the characters involved in the plot to mess over Sonic and his pals. What baffles me is why Tails it not inspecting the gear. If he inspects it he should find the sabotage. At least that is what I would expect to happen late in Sonic The Hedgehog #69.

The shock ending twist in Sonic The Hedgehog #69 shows Eggman show up to give Sonic and his team some gear. It looks like the thought will be to get a masked racer into another qualifying race to see who is behind this attack. Eggman does not like other characters humiliating Sonic. That is what he is supposed to do. So his motives make some sense in Sonic The Hedgehog #69.
