I have been slowly bringing down my new comic book purchases to get caught up on the older ones I bought over the last couple of years. I almost returned Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2024 when the local comic book store added it to my pull. I did not ask for the annual, and the price of $7.99 seemed excessive to me. I am reading the Sonic The Hedgehog comic books so I decided to give this one a shot.

There will be spoilers in my review of the Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2024 comic book. There are three stories within Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2024. The first story in Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2024 is Hero's Calling. This story is ten pages long. We learn a bit more about Surge and Kit. The duo is off trying to be heroes, but doing it differently. There are also some interesting thoughts by the characters. They seem to be more of a final solution than fight the bad guy, beat them, and have the bad guy come back later. This storyline will continue in Sonic The Hedgehog #75.

The second story in Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2024 is For My Destiny. This is also a ten page story. This second story in Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2024 is all about Knuckles. The chaos emerald gives him a dream. Then Sonic, Tails and Amy show up. There is some real good humor in Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2024 in this storyline. This story will be continued in Sonic The Hedgehog #80.

The third story in Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2024 is Shattered Diamonds. This story is twenty pages long. That brings the full comic book count to forty pages. The price seems more fair to me now. This story is all about Mimic and how he was in the Diamond Cutters during the way. Mimic is pretty warped and thinks everyone is deceptive like he is. I wonder if he will ever learn there are those different from him.

There are some ads at the end of Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2024. There is also the IDW View from the Back Page. Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2024 does have a bit of violence, action, adventure, mild bad language, and more. All in all I liked reading Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2024. There are some neat behind the scenes shown in Sonic The Hedgehog Annual 2024. The credits and alternate covers can be found on the back of the front cover.
