Spider-Gwen the Ghost Spider #5
SCORE: 67
Things finally improve in some areas for this franchise in
Spider-Gwen the Ghost Spider #5. I am also paying real close attention
to the legacy aspect of Spider-Gwen the Ghost Spider #5. This comic book
is legacy #65. Why was there a reboot after only sixty issues? When did
it die out and then come back? I suppose I need to do some research to
find those answers at some point in the future.
There will be spoilers in my review of the Spider-Gwen the Ghost Spider
#5 comic book. Advertisements can be found all throughout the
Spider-Gwen the Ghost Spider #5 comic book. The first page in
Spider-Gwen the Ghost Spider #5 is a recap/credits page. Then there are
twenty pages of comic book content. Spider-Gwen the Ghost Spider #5 cost
me $3.99 to purchase.
I am not a fan of the artwork within Spider-Gwen the Ghost Spider #5. It
starts really dirty and ugly. There is a bit of violent content in
Spider-Gwen the Ghost Spider #5. Vermin attacks Spider-Gwen and
Chameleon when they are in the sewer. Chameleon actually saves the day
by turning into Electro and having Spider-Gwen get out of the water. He
has a nice streak within him.
We also learn a bit about the person behind the attack of Spider-Gwen in
Spider-Gwen the Ghost Spider #5. Black Tarantula is the one who hired
Chameleon. Spider-Gwen does help out Chameleon. She uses her new energy
powers that she told Silk she did not have not that long ago.
Spider-Gwen is able to take out the nanites in Chameleon's body. He
loses his powers but he is also no longer glitching. Sort of taking the
baby out with the bath water.
Chameleon covers for Spider-Gwen in Spider-Gwen the Ghost Spider #5
since she saved his life. Chameleon lets Spider-Gwen know who hired him,
and then lets her get away. Spider-Gwen the Ghost Spider #5 progresses
the story nicely. It is neat to see. The police are still after
Spider-Gwen in this comic book. She also should still be hiding per the
instructions given in the first issue after the reboot.
