Star Trek #12

I am very thankful I had the money to purchase a copy of the Star Trek #12 comic book. This comic book is the fifth part of the Day of Blood storyline. The fifth part is also the last part of this storyline. Pretty much everything within Star Trek #12 is extremely predictable. I will get into those things in just a little bit. There will be spoilers in this review of Star Trek #12.

The issues families can have with Star Trek #12 are violence, false gods, blood, and more. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Star Trek #12. We also get two pages of Starfleet logs in Star Trek #12. The next issue for Star Trek is given a page. There are some advertisement pages, and also a covers checklist page. The covers checklist page shows all these different covers of this comic book. Does anyone actually buy all of them?

I was so right about the Data and Lore issues. The threats from Data send Lore into hiding. Well the thing is Lore does not hide long though. In fact Lore contacts the Klingons at the end of Star Trek #12. It looks like Lore will be a problem in the near future. Data could have played that so much better in my opinion. Data in essence caused that problem with his threats.

Alexander is brought back to life thanks to the recreated Orb of Creation in Star Trek #12. Captain Sisko survives the attack thanks to the same power source. There is a cool page that must be read from all sides in Star Trek #12 when it looks like Captain Sisko is going to fail. Spock has a good part in Star Trek #12 too. In fact Spock does a lot of good things in this comic book.

Worf and Sisko make amends and shake hands at the end of Star Trek #12. It is nice to see them work out their issues. Alexander is healing but may have some lasting trauma thanks to this storyline. There may also be a Romulan plot in the near future due to one of the events within Star Trek #12. It is not all shown so it is obviously something for a future issue.
