Star Trek #15
SCORE: 64
Star Trek #15 is part three of the Glass and Bone storyline. There
are some interesting developments in Star Trek #15. Readers of this
comic book also learn some interesting things about this whole festival
thing. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content, then a page
devoted to the next issue, advertisements, and finally a covers
checklist for this issue in Star Trek #15.
There will be spoilers in this review of the Star Trek #15 comic book.
There is going to be one major spoiler coming up in this review. There
are a couple of pages within Star Trek #15 devoted to the Romulans.
There is quite the surprise development within Star Trek #15 too.
Evolution is promoted prominently within Star Trek #15. There is also
violence, blood, and more in this comic book.
Starfleet, the Romulans and some of the Tzenthi fight a horde of larger
dinosaurs that attacks them. This is some odd thing they do as a
culture. I honestly do not comprehend it. Why destroy all of these
creatures? The only conclusion I can come to is the radical belief of
survival of the fittest. You know the same thing the Nazi's used in
their terror campaign on the world.
The Romulans save one of the Starfleet personnel in Star Trek #15. Then
another Romulan stabs Captain Sisko through his back and out his chest
with a nasty looking blade. I am not sure if Captain Sisko is going to
die or not. This is the surprise ending and major spoiler I referenced
earlier in this review. It would be very interesting to see this
character die off and the story move on without him.
I suspect the worm hole aliens may get involved and save Captain Sisko
somehow in the next issue of this comic book series. I did some research
and see that there are three more parts to this storyline. Star Trek #15
puts us right at the halfway point. I am not sure why the Romulan chose
that moment to betray Captain Sisko. They need everyone in this fight.
Why not wait until near the end? Dr. Crusher and Scotty are on an
interesting quest in Star Trek #15 too.
