Star Trek #17
SCORE: 66
I can barely believe that I am already up to the seventeenth issue of
the Star Trek comic book series. I know I have been reading it for a
bit. I just did not realize how long this comic book has been going.
Star Trek #17 is the fifth part of the Glass and Bone storyline. Things
are really starting to heat up in Star Trek #17. There will be some
spoilers in my review of the Star Trek #17 comic book.
The recap and credits page is on the back of the front cover. There are
a couple of different threads that happen within Star Trek #17. Some of
the threads within Star Trek #17 merge together. Harry Kim plants a bomb
on one of the major ships and blows it up. Captain Sisko tries to get
Starfleet to stand down on this attack. Sisko then tries to talk the
Tzenkethi Coalition away from a war.
The Romulans are very smart in Star Trek #17. The Romulans also expected
an attack in Star Trek #17. The Romulans had the Tzenkethi Coalition
hide some ships which are brought out near the end of Star Trek #17. It
looks like war is coming in the next issue. Data passes out in Star Trek
#17. Which leaves the U.S.S. Theseus in a bit of a problem at the end of
Star Trek #17. Especially since most of the crew is already previously
injured.
The issues families can have with Star Trek #17 are violence, bad
language and more. There is also a Data page right after he shut down.
Star Trek #17 also includes a page of the scan of the Warmaster Muthkrat
warship. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Star
Trek #17. There are also a few advertisement pages within Star Trek #17.
There is also a cover gallery page in Star Trek #17. The IDW from the
Backpage is also in Star Trek #17.
Star Trek #17 cost me $4.99 which feels high based on comic book
content. I am on the fence concerning this series. I plan on finishing
this storyline. I am not sure how much longer I will continue to read
this Star Trek comic book. Star Trek #17 does not really impress me. The
leaders are wrong lesson within Star Trek #17 is honestly a bit overused
nowadays. I will continue to pray and consider if I will continue this
series.
