Star Trek #18
SCORE: 64
What is going on with comic books these days? Star Trek #18 is $4.99
in terms of the price. There are only twenty-two pages of comic book
content. Why is it another dollar for two more pages when so many other
comics are $3.99 for twenty pages? I am not very pleased with this
series for that decision. The recap and credits are found on the back of
the front cover of the Star Trek #18 comic book.
Star Trek #18 is the sixth and final part of the Glass and Bone
storyline. Honestly I was happy to see it totally and completely
resolved. There will be spoilers in this review of the Star Trek #18
comic book. There is a page in Star Trek #18 that contains a message
from Scotty and Beverly. There is also a page from the Daystrom
Institute. That second page is all about Data and how he was revived.
Data also left Star Fleet because of what was done to reactivate him.
The issues families can have with Star Trek #18 are violence, bad
language, false gods, evolution, and more. A battle opens up in space
between the Cardassians, Romulans and Tzenkethi. Starfleet is left alone
as long as they do not attack anyone else. Captain Sisko spends most of
Star Trek #18 being angry at others for the choices they made. I really
cannot relate to his anger.
There is a page in Star Trek #18 devoted to the next issue. There are
pages in Star Trek #18 called Ships Log, and Personnel Files. There is
also a page in Star Trek #18 that is the IDW View from the Back Page.
Finally we get an advertisement and a cover checklist page in Star Trek
#18. The next storyline will be about T'LIR. He is that Vulcan with some
kind of major secret.
Starfleet creates this warp engine looking device to save the planet in
Star Trek #18. Captain Sisko then invites the dinosaurs to join them in
peace instead of war. Everyone stands down and it goes well. The Admiral
is not happy with Captain Sisko over this either. Yet again Sisko breaks
the rules and there is no punishment to him over it. I am not sure how
much longer I am going to read this comic book.
