Star Trek #19

Thankfully I had the $4.99 to purchase a copy of the Star Trek #19 comic book. This issue is the first part of the Pleroma storyline. I am currently unclear how many issues this storyline will take. We do learn about the Organians in Star Trek #19. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Star Trek #19. There is a page devoted to the next issue in Star Trek #19 as well.

Star Trek #19 contains two Star Trek related pages. The first is the Ships Log, and the second is devoted to Megan Levens. We also get a page in Star Trek #19 entitled IDW View from the Back page. That page is in a lot of the IDW Publishing comic books I have been buying lately. The covers checklist will help readers see all the different covers for the Star Trek #19 comic book.

The issues families can have with Star Trek #19 are false gods, rebellion, and more. There are two odd pages in Star Trek #19. One of them looks like a hand written poem, and the other is a page from Beverly Crusher's Personal Log. The Vulcan ensign T'Lir in Star Trek #19 is actually the last of the Organian race. He is trying to get the crew to help him save his people in Star Trek #19.

The Prophets forbid Captain Sisko from going to the Pleroma. In fact those wormhole aliens want him to come back to them. Captain Sisko decides he is going to do whatever he wants to do. He is going to go there against their command and be rebellious. Ensign Sato is not happy with being lied to. She is on thin ice with Captain Sisko since she destroyed ships of that other race in the last storyline. I find it funny that Sisko can be rebellious but not people under him. Rules for thee, but not for me.

The ship is going to need a retrofit. Which is something that should happen in the next issue. The little twist ending in Star Trek #19 is Section 31 shows up. Someone claiming to be from Section 31 wants to enlist Ensign Sato in their organization. I am not sure which direction she will go with that offer. It may get more interesting. I am still losing interest in this series personally. I am debating how much longer I want to read it.
