Star Trek #22

Star Trek #22 cost me $4.99 and there are twenty-two pages of comic book content. There is also a personal log, and a hand written letter in Star Trek #22. A lot of Star Trek #22 feels like we are meandering around aimlessly. Star Trek #22 is the fourth part of the Pleroma storyline. We get two pages of the Ships log which is just getting to know some of the people that work on this franchise.

There will be spoilers in my review of Star Trek #22. There are different conversations that happen in Star Trek #22. Benjamin and his mother have a conversation that honestly makes little to no sense to me. The people in the main room continue to insult one another. Some people actually say Star Trek is hateful to God. How could they say that with this deity representation? Yes I am being sarcastic.

Wesley meets with his mom for a few minutes in Star Trek #22. Wesley has actually lived thousands of years. he is not even sure about that. He does make an interesting parting comment about hoping to see her at some wedding. Star Trek #22 does not clarify whose wedding this will be. That is the only tidbit in Star Trek #22 that actually piqued my curiosity.

Lily has a really interesting part to play in Star Trek #22. She uses a device that lets Lor and Data into the Pleroma area. I think they have something to kill these beings. I am not entirely sure. There is a bit of a cliffhanger at the end of Star Trek #22. Lor has Data's head and is in command of a Klingon ship in Star Trek #22. It looks like he intends to attack these beings.

The issues families can have with Star Trek #22 are violence, false gods, and more. I still feel like the price is too high for the content. I am not into the ships log, or the IDW View from the Back Page. I have seen the IDW View from the back page in multiple other comic books. Star Trek #22 is not even cannon. So what is the point of all this? Why is Benjamin so stubborn?
