Star Trek Defiant #6
SCORE: 62
After reading the third part of the Day of Blood storyline I decided
to go back and purchase the older ones to find out how the story
developed. As I read Star Trek Defiant #6 I realized that there is a lot
that happened in the first five issues of this comic book series I had
no idea about. I sort of regret not reading some of the earlier ones.
There will be spoilers in this review.
The issues families can have with Star Trek Defiant #6 are violence,
blood, bad language, false gods, and more. There are some interesting
team ups in Star Trek Defiant #6. For example Data and Lore work
together. Captain Sisko and Ambassador Worf work together. Worf and
Benjamin have some issues to work out. There is also a trust issue with
the wormhole aliens being a major part.
There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Star Trek
Defiant #6. There are two personal logs from Worf in Star Trek Defiant
#6. Each one of those logs takes up a page. We have some checklists for
the full story, ads, and of course alternate covers. The issues between
Data and Lore are interesting. Lore seems very different in Star Trek
Defiant #6 to me from the television show. I will need to keep reading
to see if Data's threat is followed through or not.
Scotty and Spock reuniting in Star Trek Defiant #6 was very fascinating
indeed. It is a shame that Mr. Spock would not give his old friend a
hug. Maybe that will come later. Scotty uses his wisdom to trick the
enemies so hopefully they can survive the battle out in space. I am very
curious to see what happens with these characters going forward after
Star Trek Defiant #6. Star Trek #11 is the next issue in this storyline.
Star Trek Defiant #6 is part two of the day of blood storyline.
Initially I did not plan on reading Star Trek Defiant after the issues
related to the day of blood storyline. I may change my mind of that
after finishing all of this. I am on the fence right now. The Defiant
has an interesting captain and crew. Worf makes a good point to Captain
Sisko about commanding that ship. Benjamin claims it was stolen.
