Star Trek Defiant #7

I recently read the Star Trek Defiant #7 comic book. This comic book is the fourth part of the Day of Blood storyline. Star Trek Defiant #7 goes exactly where I thought it would go. There is only one more part in this Day of Blood storyline. There are twenty-two pages of comic book content within Star Trek Defiant #7. We also get a treat to the front cover of Star Trek #12, a checklist page, some ads, and all of the covers of this comic book.

There will be spoilers in this review of Star Trek Defiant #7. There are two interesting pages within Star Trek Defiant #7. These two pages are written by Alexander. The first one is his letter to his father Worf. The second page is when Alexander was on the Enterprise and had to write a paper in his third grade class. It is interesting to see how Alexander changed his thinking over time.

I completely expected Alexander to die in Star Trek Defiant #7. Guess what? I was also completely right. I also predicted that Khaless II is the one that would kill him. Again I was right. I could not see Worf killing his son. I did not see Alexander killing his father. I wound up completely right on all counts. Captain Sisko is in a bit of a bind in Star Trek Defiant #7. He is being attacked by some weapon from a ship but surviving it.

The Orb of Creation is being brought down to the planet to save Sisko. That should happen in the next part of the storyline. The Defiant gets up into space to help out the Theseus. They are out in space fighting off the Klingons. The Federation people use deception and lies to take out the other ship. The issues families can have with Star Trek Defiant #7 are false gods, violence, blood, and more.

The conversation between Worf and Alexander when they are fighting is a strange one. Worf claims Klingons fight because they are afraid. This is not a concept I have heard before. Honestly it makes little sense to me. They talk about the hole they have inside them in terms of spiritual. They just need to get a relationship with Jesus Christ to fill that God shaped hole.
