Superior Spider-Man #8
SCORE: 69
And then there were none left. Superior Spider-Man #8 is the last
issue in this comic book series. I am actually really happy that
Superior Spider-Man wrapped up. The story went an interesting direction
and I feel like Superior Spider-Man #8 is a perfect place and way to
wrap up this entire thing. There are twenty pages of comic book content
with advertisements found all throughout the Superior Spider-Man #8
comic book.
The price of Superior Spider-Man #8 is $4.99. So the cost compared to
the content is not matching. I know of plenty of other comic books that
sell for a dollar less and they have two more pages of comic book
content. Marvel is all over the place with their prices. There will be
spoilers in my review of the Superior Spider-Man #8 comic book. There is
some violent content within Superior Spider-Man #8.
Spider-Man tricks three characters controlled by Doc Ock to reveal the
plan. Then Spider-Man knows right where to go. The older Doc Ock arms
actually help Spider-Man in Superior Spider-Man #8. Certain villains
never got spiders in their bodies so they are able to fight with
Spider-Man in Superior Spider-Man #8. Spider-Boy does a lot to stop
Spider-Man in Superior Spider-Man #8.
Anna shows up after Spider-Man saves the day. Anna pretends to be
controlled by the spiders too in Superior Spider-Man #8. Doc Ock takes
the mind control helmet and makes all of the spiders leave. No one can
be left with his brainwaves in their heads. In the process Doc Ock
forgets what happened and who Spider-Man actually is. Supernova wants to
get revenge but is talked out of when she realizes the bad doctor has no
memory.
Superior Spider-Man #8 wraps things up nicely. The villain no longer has
the memory of the secret identity of the hero. The villain leaves. The
master plan is stopped, and will not be tried again. I liked Superior
Spider-Man #8 more than the last few. The different villains are allowed
to leave, and Supernova leaves of her own accord. She can go and do
whatever she wants in the future.
