Superman Man of Tomorrow
SCORE: 63
Thankfully I had the money to purchase a copy of Superman Man of
Tomorrow on Blu-ray. I really thought I had seen this movie before, but
after watching it I realized I had not seen it. It takes ninety-six
minutes to watch Superman Man of Tomorrow from start to finish. This is
a reboot of Superman when he was just starting out. There are some
interesting characters within Superman Man of Tomorrow.
There will be spoilers in my review of the Superman Man of Tomorrow
movie. Superman does not have his costume at first in Superman Man of
Tomorrow. In fact he is called the Flying Man at first in Superman Man
of Tomorrow. Lois Lane takes down Lex Luthor really early in Superman
Man of Tomorrow. A rocket going into space has some technical
difficulties and Superman must save the city by throwing it into space.
My comment was he threw it too far out there.
The issues families can have with Superman Man of Tomorrow are violence,
bad language, lack of attire, enticement to lust, nudity, blood, lying,
and more. Lobo makes an appearance in Superman Man of Tomorrow and he
makes all kinds of rude, crude, and lude comments. Parasite is created
in Superman Man of Tomorrow thanks to Lobo. Superman and Lobo team up
with Lex Luthor to try and stop Parasite.
Parasite is made extremely powerful in Superman Man of Tomorrow. In fact
Lobo, Superman, and Lex Luthor are unable to completely take him down.
The Martian Manhunter did get involved at one point when Lex turned on
Superman with the kryptonite weapon that was also hurting Parasite
because he syphoned off some of Superman's power. Parasite wind up
saving the day when a nuclear power plant is about to explode. Parasite
absorbs the power and winds up killing himself in the process.
There is plenty of humor within Superman Man of Tomorrow. Lobo likes to
tell tall tales in Superman Man of Tomorrow. Earth in Superman Man of
Tomorrow is shown as being scared of aliens. Superman convinces them
that not all aliens are bad. Superman Man of Tomorrow has this feel good
moment that aliens are actually okay. Some of the bonus features on this
disc are interesting. The ones on Lobo and Martian Manhunter interested
me personally.
