The Amazing Spider-Man #39
SCORE: 65
I just finished reading the The Amazing Spider-Man #39 comic book.
Gang War is here in the Marvel Universe. The comic book starts with a
Gang War Territory Page. Then we get two pages of the recap and credits
pages. Then there are thirty-one pages of comic book content, two pages
for Attention Web Heads, and then a page for the checklist of this
entire storyline. I already missed a few of them because I am sticking
with The Amazing Spider-Man only.
There will be spoilers in this review. I purchased the Saturday Morning
Variants cover that cost me $5.99. The Amazing Spider-Man #39 explains
how when Fisk was mayor he signed a bill into law that made it illegal
for super heroes like Spider-Man to operate. The super powered criminals
are all gang lords running their own territories. These villains are now
battling one another for territory.
There is a page within The Amazing Spider-Man #39 that remember Keith
Giffen. He lived from 1952 to 2023. A whole team of super heroes are
fighting against the super powered criminals within The Amazing
Spider-Man #39. They eventually split up to go and fight off criminals
in other areas. I suppose that split up will help the storyline since
they are all doing things in their own comic books.
The issues families can have with The Amazing Spider-Man #39 are
violence, blood, bad language and more. Tombstone gets out of the
hospital and goes and sees his daughter in The Amazing Spider-Man #39.
She defended their area and is now invading another area. Tombstone does
not see it as a wise idea but his daughter is not listening to him.
Tombstone shows up to Spider-Man and She Hulk wanting to help them take
down some other crime lords.
There are plenty of disturbing parts. Tombstone's daughter drops another
criminal from twenty feet to make sure the message is received on not
attacking them. Monsters rise up to attack as well in The Amazing
Spider-Man #39. There is a bit of humor within The Amazing Spider-Man
#39. Most of this comic book is bad people doing bad things other bad
people. I am unclear where this will go because the bad guys should be
killing one another off.
