The Amazing Spider-Man #40
SCORE: 66
I am very thankful I had the $4.99 to purchase a copy of the The
Amazing Spider-Man #40 comic book. There are twenty-one pages of comic
book content within The Amazing Spider-Man #40. There are two pages of
content and then we get a page devoted to the Gang War Territories page.
After that is two pages devoted to the recap and credits. There will be
spoilers in this review.
The issues families can have with The Amazing Spider-Man #40 are
violence, blood, and more. There is a page in The Amazing Spider-Man #40
that salutes Alison Gill for her years of service at Marvel. The Bullpen
Bulletins page in The Amazing Spider-Man #40 is devoted to Stefano
Caselli. Advertisements can be found all throughout the The Amazing
Spider-Man #40 comic book.
Spider-Man, She Hulk and Tombstone work together to strategically take
out one gang. Tombstone's daughter is going after another gang and there
might be some problems for her. This one villain is downtown and she is
taking out Hammerhead. She points out how she took out the other members
of the Maggia. She is now leading the men and is their new boss. There
are all kinds of shifts happening in this storyline.
Kingpin makes an appearance near the end of The Amazing Spider-Man #40.
Bettle runs into Rose. I am not clear on what makes Rose so dangerous. I
expect there will be some fighting between characters coming up very
quickly. I am wondering what Kingpin's play is going to be after The
Amazing Spider-Man #40. I am also not sure what Tombstone is planning
going forward.
I purchased the Mary Jane in the snow wearing skis variant cover of The
Amazing Spider-Man #40. I like to get different variant covers whenever
I can. There is a bit of action within The Amazing Spider-Man #40.
Otherwise this feels like it is building toward what will be happening
soon. The Gang War storyline is not impressing me that much. There is a
checklist for all the comics that cover the entire storyline in The
Amazing Spider-Man #40.
