The Amazing Spider-Man #53

I am very thankful I was able to find the Disney Variant cover edition of The Amazing Spider-Man #53. On the front cover is What If Mickey & Friends Were Part of the New Lineup. We have Mickey Mouse at Captain America, Goofy as Thor, Donald Duck as Vision, Minnie Mouse as an Iron Girl, and more. The Amazing Spider-Man #53 cost me $4.99. This is a high price for the amount of comic book content.

There will be spoilers in my review of the The Amazing Spider-Man #53 comic book. There are twenty pages of comic book content within The Amazing Spider-Man #53 The first page in The Amazing Spider-Man #53 is a recap/credits page. There are also two pages of the Amazing Spider-Mail in The Amazing Spider-Man #53. They are all telling the people behind this product how amazing they are. No diversity in there at all.

A ragtag team comes to fight The Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man #53. They are doing okay at best. There is a bit of war on men portion in that violent battle. There is also some mild blood here and there in The Amazing Spider-Man #53. Spider-Man shows up to battle The Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man #53 near the end. Spider-Man brings the spear with him. He did some modifications to it.

The ending of The Amazing Spider-Man #53 is very interesting. It looks like the sins of the The Green Goblin are leaving him, and trying to go into Spider-Man. I suspect whatever device Peter Parker put on the spear is designed to trap the sins. I could be completely wrong. I will need to keep reading to find out for certain. It would make some sense though - at least to me.

Rek-Rap continues to annoy and irritate in The Amazing Spider-Man #53. Kamala is another character that I could do without. It was a great moment when they had her die. Sadly they brought her back almost immediately. So then the death had little to no meaning or value. Sort of like what Kamala brings to The Amazing Spider-Man #53. There are some bloody advertisements in The Amazing Spider-Man #53.
