The Amazing Spider-Man #954
SCORE: 68
There are some real oddities concerning The Amazing Spider-Man #60.
This comic book cost me $7.99. There are fifty pages of comic book
content within The Amazing Spider-Man #60. The legacy issue numbering
for The Amazing Spider-Man #60 is #954. At some point I need to convert
all of The Amazing Spider-Man comic book reviews to their legacy
numbering system. Maybe over Christmas break or something. I could start
with this one I suppose. I talked myself into it.
There will be spoilers in my review of The Amazing Spider-Man #954 comic
book. The first story in The Amazing Spider-Man #954 is twenty pages and
it is the mainline story. Tombstone is back in court. Janice the
daughter of Tombstone has decided she will no longer testify against her
father. The judge decides to dismiss the case because Tombstone and
Spider-Man fought in New York City. The first page in The Amazing
Spider-Man #954 is a credits/recap page.
Tombstone lets Peter Parker in on a secret - Spider-Man beat him fair
and square. Tombstone got to the judge and had the case dismissed.
Tombstone does not play fair and square. The world is not fair and
square. There are two pages of credits after the mainline story, and
then some more stories. Team Up Part Two is eight pages and devoted to
Rek-Rap. Bubs is a three page story devoted to Wolverine.
The credits claims there is a Mirror's story that I never found. I did
find a story called: "Same Spider Channel" that is eight pages long.
This is a story about Chasm and Spider-Man. It hints at more things to
come in the future. There is an eight page preview of Ride's Over in The
Amazing Spider-Man #954. Doctor Doom will be gracing this comic book
with his presence on the eight deaths of Spider-Man.
There are two pages of The Amazin Spider-Mail in The Amazing Spider-Man
#954. There is also two pages devoted to John Cassaday. I guess he is
dead now. I am curious to hear what he died of, but The Amazing
Spider-Man #954 does not share that. There is also a page devoted to the
next issue of this comic book series. I have no idea why this one was
over double length. Nothing in the numbering hints to that.
