The Christ #3
SCORE: 85
I can barely believe that I made it all the way to the third volume
of this series already. The Christ #3 continues the historical
accounting of Jesus Christ. There are thirty-two pages of comic book
content within The Christ #3. This comic book cost me $3.99. The pages
are good. The art is good. The references to the Holy Bible within The
Christ #3 are definitely very good.
There can be a lack of attire issue within The Christ #3. I also noticed
that certain people are called snakes in The Christ #3. The religious
leaders at the time. In fact Jesus and others called them a brood of
vipers in the Holy Bible. There will be spoilers in my review of the The
Christ #3 comic book. If you are trying to get a comic book reader to
learn about Jesus Christ then this series is a great tool.
The first twenty-four pages are devoted to John the Baptist and then the
beginning of the ministry of Jesus Christ. We are shown the miracle of
turning water into wine in The Christ #3. On page twenty-five we are
told The Soldier's Story in The Christ #3. There is another trip to
visit John the Baptist. We find out about the issues between John the
Baptist and King Herod in The Christ #3.
Jesus calls different disciples to him in The Christ #3. We also have a
great scene in The Christ #3 showing the dove descending on Jesus after
he is baptized. It is such a wonderful moment in The Christ #3. I am so
glad this comic book covered this historical event with such amazing
power. The religious leaders confront John in The Christ #3 asking him
if he is the Messiah.
John clearly identifies who the Messiah is in The Christ #3. There are
those that immediately follow Jesus Christ when he is pointed out in The
Christ #3. The Christ #3 is a good read. I enjoyed going through it. I
like how the verses from the Holy Bible are put at the bottom of the
page. Anyone interested can look it up in the Holy Bible and verify the
accuracy of The Christ #3
