The Flash #662
SCORE: 66
Another comic book I found on one of our Nashville trips to McKay's
was The Flash #662. This was part of the DC Universe Rebirth. The
original cost of The Flash #662 was $2.99. I only had to pay $1.25. The
comic book is in decent shape so I am guessing in terms of investments
this comic book is not a real good one. There are twenty pages of comic
book content within The Flash #662. I am using the legacy numbering
system for this series.
The Flash #662 actually has The Flash #1 on it. It was part of a major
universe reboot that DC partook in. There will be spoilers in my review
of the The Flash #662 comic book. Advertisements can be found all
throughout the The Flash #662 comic book. I am not a fan of the artwork
within The Flash #662. There are not enough details and a lot of art
looks sloppy to me.
The issues families can have with The Flash #662 are violence, blood,
lack of attire, enticement to lust, bad language and more. Some of the
issues are within the advertisements like the lack of attire and
enticement to lust. The Flash #662 does carry the thirteen and older
only rating. We follow along with Barry Allen in The Flash #662. There
are references to the universe reboot and Batman in The Flash #662.
I love the different lightning effects used in The Flash #662. The
accident that gave Barry Allen his powers are shown. He must choose who
he can save in certain instances because he cannot be in two places at
one time. No matter how fast he is in The Flash #662 he is never quite
fast enough to do everything. Barry and Iris are friends in The Flash
#662. Iris is a reporter, and white. Although Barry's nephew is black. I
know he was white in other materials.
We meet a cop and Barry's boss in The Flash #662. I find it interesting
that Barry is so fast but constantly late to his job. He is constantly
saving something and that takes time. The victim is still dead so it is
not like they are going anywhere anytime soon. Barry is also told his
problem is he has all these different projects but not one thing he
fully devotes himself too. I can relate to that.
