The Flash #663
SCORE: 67
The Flash #663 is the second issue of the DC Universe Rebirth. I am
really thankful I was able to figure out the legacy numbering of this
series. It will help as I continue to explore the comic books from the
past. The Flash #663 originally sold for $2.99. I was able to purchase
it for $1.25. The comic is in decent shape as well. I was happy to be
able to read and now review The Flash #663.
There will be spoilers in my review of the The Flash #663 comic book.
Detective August Heart is being tested by The Flash in this comic book.
Why is that happening. At the end of the previous comic book Detective
Heart got hit by lightning and got the Speed Force. The good detective
also realizes that Barry is The Flash in this comic book. The Flash has
the worst record with a secret identity from what I recall.
There is a bit of violence in The Flash #663. We find out that Dr.
Carver is behind the Black Hole organization in The Flash #663. Iris is
going around investigating the story and the Black Hole tries to kidnap
her. Thankfully she was on the phone with one of the two speedsters at
the time. They show up to save her in The Flash #663. The Flash gets hit
with a weapon that causes him all kinds of problems.
The detective comes and saves The Flash in The Flash #663. The two of
them can heal if they are close because of the Speed Force connection.
The Flash #663 is continuing the slow reveal of the bad guys, as well as
giving us new good guys. Another speedster is also shown in The Flash
#663 for a few pages. Advertisements can be found all throughout The
Flash #663 comic book.
The ending of The Flash #663 is very interesting indeed. Barry feels
that the Speed Force is trying to help him. How is it trying to help
him? By giving him more speedsters. He needs more people with the same
powers to assist him get all of the things done. There is another
lightning storm near the end of The Flash #663. The Speed Force hits all
these other people. I am guessing they are getting powers too.
