The Flash #804
SCORE: 69
I am thankful I had the $3.99 to purchase a copy of the The Flash
#804 comic book. I am still not clear where this series is going. I am
trying to figure that out. There are some really strange things that
happen in The Flash #804. Also this comic book does not feel that
connected to the last one. Maybe that is just me. There is little about
that speedster that got stuck somewhere strange.
There will be spoilers in this review. The layout of The Flash #804 is
interesting to me. We get five pages of comic book content, and then a
two page spread for the credits, and then fifteen more pages of comic
book content. There are advertisements that are placed throughout the
comic book content. There is also a DC Nation Interview page in The
Flash #804. It is about Patrick Wilson.
The Flash #804 is half about The Flash and half about his daughter Irey.
Irey is actually Thunder Heart. She meets up with Liberty Belle. The two
of them discover that Mirror Master is selling some drug that helps
normal people get amazing speed. They do not catch up with the lady who
took the drug though. Instead they find where the drugs came from and
wind up shutting that place down.
Flash is in this strange place where he can see others and what they are
doing at that moment in time. The different characters are shown as
statues in poses. As time progresses the poses of the statues change.
The Flash runs into some strange character that talks to him in The
Flash #804. There is a certain peace and serenity The Flash winds up
finding in this odd place in The Flash #804.
The issues families can have with The Flash #804 are violence, lack of
attire, false gods, and more. The bad content is pretty tame in The
Flash #804. One of the speedsters phases when another one attacks them.
The art is still on the strange side in The Flash #804 for me. I am not
big on the style being used in this comic book series. I am still trying
to determine if I want to keep reading this series.
