The Flash #809

After reading The Flash #809 I am sure that I will stop reading this series very soon. I gave The Flash multiple issues to try and get its act together. The Flash #809 is bringing the storyline to an end. It cost me $4.99 to purchase a copy of the The Flash #809 comic book. I got one of the alternate covers which winds up giving me two covers to the same comic book.

There will be spoilers in my review of the The Flash #809 comic book. The Flash #809 contains twenty pages of comic book content. There are two pages for Ramona & Me. There is also a DC Nation Spotlight on Gotham by Gaslight. Advertisements can be found all throughout the The Flash #809 comic book. There is some encouragement to rebel against God in one of the ads in The Flash #809.

Flash continues to fight Thawne in his head in The Flash #809. He comes close to hurting others. The odd thing is the people he is trying to hurt are nonchalant about it. In fact they are not concerned at all. It really is a weird moment that does not seem to fit in my opinion. One of the children of Flash is able to find him. The two characters kidnapping speedsters are taking a very young child from the mother to keep him safe.

Call me crazy but most mothers would want to go with their child if they were being taken to be safe. The Flash #809 does not feel right to me in so many arenas. In fact now that I think about it the total disconnect is why this whole series does not reach me. I am not sure where the writers are going with this. I know it does not reach me, and it does not make sense to me.

The twist ending in The Flash #809 is Batman is supposed to be behind this. I am honestly not buying it. Why would Batman be going after The Flash? Maybe the next issue will explain this. As of right now The Flash #809 continues to fail to make sense to me. I have been reading Batman comic books and he has problems of his own right now. How exactly is he involved in this?
