The Flash
SCORE: 67
Noah and I recently watched The Flash on Blu-ray. Peter refused to
watch it due to the many crimes and mental illnesses of Ezra Miller. I
am not a fan of what that man has done and has been doing. I decided to
give this movie a fair shake. I focuses on this movie and its content. I
am not part of the cancel culture, and can separate the artist from
their work. I also know there have been plenty of complaints about this
movie from a plethora of different sources.
The Flash surprised me in a lot of ways. First and foremost The Flash is
better than I expected it to be. The special effects in The Flash are
fantastic. I did not think about him having to eat because he was
burning up so much energy so fast. The Flash does not seem very bright
in this movie. He refers to himself as the janitor of the Justice
League. The comic books has The Flash being really smart because he can
think so much faster than anyone else.
The issues families can have with The Flash are violence, bad language,
nudity, blood, and more. The Flash goes back in time to save his mother.
When he does this he changes the timeline. The Flash is mainly about the
The Flash Paradox from the comic books. The Flash does have some
interesting differences though. The Flash meets his younger self when he
tries to go back to the future. He gets his younger self powers, and
deals with Zod's invasion.
The Flash race swaps a few characters. I am not really sure why that was
done. It made little sense to me. It was great to see Michael Keaton
back as Batman. We even get a Nicholas Cage Superman in The Flash.
George Clooney comes back for a Bruce Wayne cameo appearance in The
Flash. I never liked George Clooney as Batman. Michael Keaton has some
very epic moments within The Flash.
The multiverse belief is taught in The Flash. At the end of The Flash we
find out the world is generally reset but there are still some
differences. I feel like The Flash could have been used to do a full
DCEU reboot and reset. An opportunity was missed there or it could be
used to explain things away in the future. All in all I found The Flash
an entertaining movie with a lesson about accepting loss in our lives. I
wish the bad language had been toned down, as well as some of the creepy
moments. Like when Wonder Woman showed up.
